What's your go to memory to feel better after a long day?

I think about how I felt during the duration of my first love. I have this specific memory: I was working at McDonald's and working there really was never that pleasant. But during a shift, I get a text basically saying "Thinking of you!" I've honestly never felt better (as simple as that was). Even though that person is totally not in my life anymore, I think back to that day and my admiration was so strong that I still feel good when I think about it.

What's your favorite hobby?

I am not sure I have just one favorite. But I have two main go to's:

Music will always be one. Whether it is listening to it, talking about it, or playing/singing it, music has always been there for me. It sets me free in a world that is otherwise tied down.

The other is enjoying the stories of the world. Writing it, reading, film, music, gaming, or talking; I love it all. There is something you can only find in yourself when you are buried deep inside someone else's story and finding that part of it rings true to you or makes you take a perspective that you never have before.



When was the last time you were struck profoundly be something you expected to be insignificant?

Last evening at the grocery store. I saw the homeless man who comes around our neighborhood sometimes. He had his big black bag in the shopping cart and was counting out his change to see what he could buy. I'm almost in tears now that I didn't buy him a few things; I was just in such a rush it didn't even occur to me at the time. But I did buy him lunch once if you count McDonald's.

Do you have much of an ego?

Not really; probably better question to ask someone else about me, am I? xP

White and seldom. Aka - lots of milk & sugar.

Mass Effect 2. It is the only game I've ever actually finished. Plus I got addicted to mining planets.

Statue. Or maybe a monument... that would be awesome.

Does world domination appeal to you?

Hmmmm.... Maybe. I'd like to think I'd be like the Governor in The Walking Dead; only actually be a good person. Because the city was set-up well. He was just nuts.

Do you think voting should be a right for everyone, or only those that are actually informed enough to understand what they are voting for or against? (No idea how we'd test/screen for that.)

Electoral College was made for that reason, still lives today. The principle is good, but turnout is pretty low and no real way to do so without infringing. So I guess it's fine as is in that regard.

Biggest fault of yours?

Personal opinion: I think the Electoral College is as broken as the healthcare system in this country.

My biggest fault? I'm a HSP, so I tend to take things way too personally. Which hurts me in the end. (Clarification edit: being a HSP is NOT a fault. The taking things way too personally can be.)

When you're ill do you struggle through regardless or just curl up in bed as much as possible?

Usually struggle through best I can. People count on me, unless I physically am not able to do something needed I will do it.

Depends on what it is, I have a pretty good memory but if it's something more trivial then I might.
