Yes. In my younger days I played ranked matches and verged on master status, but could never quite get there... haven't played in a long time though.

No, we don't own a juicer. We've talked about it a dozen times. But everyone I've ever known who has one stopped using it within a month because of how hard it was to clean; even the "easy clean" ones.

Mine either. I only go there in the most desperate of times (meaning when I'm super late and absolutely starving to the point of becoming a crazy lady).

For years I was totally an aggressive type A; completely bought into the corporate rat race; clawed my way up the ladder; a complete rule follower. You get the picture. :) Then a variety of life incidents hit me within a few years of one another (lost my younger sister in 2009 and beat cancer last year). And I decided to change, so I have a few.

I'm grown, I do what I wanna do.
I don't get in trouble, I get an attorney.
There is no such thing as a permanent record, except for Google.
There is no prize at the end of life for being miserable, so stop trying to be a martyr.

When is it acceptable to text at the table?

It depends on the circumstances. I try not to at all. I still believe it is generally rude to do so. But when in a group of people who are all the tech sort, it will check my messages once or twice during dinner (if I am expecting a message).

But on the norm I only text at the table if I am telling someone that I will get back to them later, or if I am out with a group of people and we are waiting on someone I may text that person(s) to get a ETA. Those are the only two "normal" times when it is acceptable to me.
Now if the phone goes off several times, it must be an emergency, then it is obviously acceptable (I have my correspondents trained to wait for my replies patiently, or don't text me at all. lol. Anyone not following that would suggest distress)

I think the only good hip-hop is poetry... But it is getting especially rare nowadays, aside from underground music circuits. Most of what airs today on the radio as hip hop is pop-evolution of wannabe gansta rap from the mid-late 90's with lots of remixes and good beats. It was to be expected as most of the forebears of that hip hop are dead or retired now.

I do believe in extraterrestrial life. I mean otherwise the universe is just a gigantic waste of space. The only other explanation is that we are at the very beginning of the duration of life and through the rest of time will spend eons covering planets in the furthest corners of the universe in life. Since I like simplicity, I am more inclined to believe the prior over the latter.
