That is a tough one, because there is a major difference between invention and innovation to me. Most of the great stuff we use today is actually innovations of lessor inventions.

Also need to contend with, what has influenced the world to the greatest extent. (directly and indirectly)

I am going to go with art. Because without the invention of art, we would never have dreamed and expanded to the cultures we are today. The ability to create something in our mind and then produce a effigy of it in reality is critical to the development of society and culture as we know. I likely started as someone's attempt to tell a story that others could see. But from that we learned to dream and all other inventions came... So Art, definitely.




Is the internet the downfall of us all as some people portend?

Very possible just the fact that we are talking about the downfall of the internet on the internet could be a great argument on either end of the spectrum. At least I think that may be what the philosophers are philosophizing

Within 100 years do you think we'll be able to see an alien planet man could survive on?

I personally think it is leading to the downfall of civility, common courtesy, socializing and open debate to name a few. You can't sit at a pub and have a debate any longer because someone will just pull out their smart phone and look up the answer; in that setting, the answer was never the point.

You can't have a cocktail party where people talk and mingle with people only in the room. Many, if not most, people will have their phones at hand and be texting others. Why are they even there? We are without a doubt becoming more disconnected from one another each day.

So perhaps not the downfall, but in the end, many good things, things that make us civilized, will come to nothing good because of the internet.

Same question that I asked or that NB asked? I am prepared to answer both.

Internet downfall: I think that it will polarize society. That as suggested, some people will devolve into monkeys seeking pleasure stimulators (especially as science and technology advance in ways that allow for us to enjoy more for less)
It will also help connect people that could never be connected before. This will produce new ideas, new culture, and new love that would never exist otherwise.

Livable Alien Planet: Within 100 years? I think so.

I hear people saying we are still 60 years away from terraforming planets to suit us. (a process that will take decades at the very least for each planet)

I also figure that we will see advancement in technology will allow us to better search the universe. As of last week they announced the discovery of the "most earth like" planet to date. It is a very long ways away, but we have seen it. It may or may not support life.

So I think we will see a planet that is livable to us within 100 years. Whether we have to create it, or find it a very long ways away, I don't know.

A better question is whether we can make it to any planet that can support us.

True love, good music, fine wine, and good times with friends and family. Also good story telling of any variety (Video Game, Music, Movie, Books, so on).

What goals I started out with I have fulfilled ingame wise. I guess just to have fun and help people enjoy it as much as possible.

I don't know how I deal with it. I do well with it, most of the time. But not all of the time.

Depends on occasion; how fancy I want my hair and how much makeup I need et all. In a rush in the morning 15 (no shower in morn) for a fancy event easily twice that or more. Don't judge, I'm ugly so it takes a bit to cover it up!

I'm a judger and a hater sometimes when it comes to people's bad behavior. I'm trying to work on it, but it's bad. Like people of Wal-Mart bad.

It is indeed a fruit. Fruits are developed from the ovary in the base of the flower, and contain the seeds of the plant.

Probably multi-million dollar music producer... Like Quincy Jones. That would be the ultimate.

I'm not certain. I've never been to an actual opera. I do like the symphony though.
