Agreed. Tying the youngest to a chair and making them watch me off my oldest might suffice, however I believe feeding the oldest one's heart to the youngest one would be more satisfying...

Since my friend is not dead, I would not eat him...
I would do my best to cover my nearly dead friend with leaves and branches to hide him...
I would then start walking out, keeping a sharp eye out for bugs and such; worms being the delicacy on this menu...

I say wife almost instantly because I don't want any children so I can only fathom having a wife in that situation. If I had children, my decision might change. Ofc... one chooses their spouse, but not their child who might be a hateful bastard. i.e. Hitler child.

I'm a huge believer in quality of life. In either of these cases, I might chose death.

Your spouse/partner, who you love, is in a horrible accident and will never be able to perform sexually again in any way. Would you rather leave your significant other penniless & have an ok relationship with someone else OR take a lover, have a fantastic but meaningless sex life and break your spouses heart but still take care of them?
