Tales from the Internet Empty Re: Tales from the Internet

The first tale came from a playstation forum, where a person supposedly knew a friend who was concerned about the heat there playstation 3 uttered.

So there solution was to wrap duck tape around the playstation 3 vents so the heat would not escape thus not heating their room... well as anything that generates heat and has a fan you can only imagine the fate of that playstation 3 for some reason the user reported their friends ps3 just simply stopped working. Truly a mystery of science.

My second tale also hails from a playstation forum where a person was sharing a story about their friend who owned a pc who misunderstand the concept of plug and play...

They decided that since a video card was "plug and play" there should be no problem plugging it in while the computer was on and live...

They were shocked when sparks went aflying according to the user and supposedly melted the contacts on the card.. the user was greatly confused on why a device that was plug and play would have such a issue of being plugged and played...

I leave you with these two tales from the internets....
and I look forward to read yours...

-Chris

Let me guess, next you're going to say that my computer doesn't come with a retractable stand for my drink?

On another forum I actually met other people in real life. It turned out to be pretty cool actually.

When I don't know something, I usually ask someone who could help, but before that I try to find some instructions.

What I wanted to say is that it's really amazing to see "creativity" of some people.

Nobody is going to say that. I can't find any other purpose for that thing. :)

Okay here is another tale...
I once had the flu while posting on a battlestar galatica forum.

I was in a kind of daz mostly feeling I had was pain... I told myself
that was the last time I was going to get me one of those flu shots.

Someone made a post saying that the truth can be found above...

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW OR WHY but somehow I decided the person
was not only calling me out but questioning my sexuality, and I replied
back WHAT THE HELL IS SUPPOSE TO MEAN, and he replied the picture above...

When I felt better I came back and found not only had I jumped to weird conclusions
but I also my spelling and grammar had taken a vacation. About 50% of what I wrote
was unreadable even to me...

So I spent the next few days writing apologies personally privately and publicly.

Yeah that was kinda embarrassing...
