Special access? Empty Special access?

Post by Prinz Charming Tue Mar 19, 2013 2:07 pm

Hey, soooo, it turns out I can't candidate for Congress this month because I don't have "special access"!
Is this normal? Is it because I still am a EZC member after the split?
Just think it's a little weird Indubitably

Seems you're a New Fed, nothing to worry about really.

The Feds. have had a longstanding policy that Feds. who request access, regardless of age, are placed into a "New Fed" group until they are screened by FBI. This is a security precaution because we need to keep our forums secure from Ajay-multis and AFA PTOers. You just requested access yesterday, so you have to give FBI some time to verify your intentions and move you to the "Fed" group.

It's nothing personal, and it's not related to the EZC split in any way. That being said, we have security measures in place on this forum and that means you'll have to wait for a few days before you can get full-Fed access.

They gave me the designation New Fed when they restored my access yesterday. I've been a fed since December. I tried to run for Congress in last month's elections, when a bug prevented the PP from putting the list in order and a bunch of multies and PTOers were put in front of me. Now I can't even candidate because EZC left the Feds forum.
So frustrating!

Like I just said, regardless of age, players are placed into the "New Feds" group when they request for access. You may not be new to the Fed. Party, but you are new to the Fed. forum and have not request for access there before.

And EZC leaving the Fed. forum is not related to this matter in any way...

You must have left the Feds in the meantime, whether for ATO or other, and had your access revoked.

I apologize. 😢

No, sir, never left.
Yes, I participated in a few ATO moves, but nothing lasting more than a day.

Hm, not sure why you would lose your access then.

Must have been an error of some sort; I'm sorry about that.

Thanks for sticking with it and making sure this got corrected Prinz. I really hope this doesn't discourage you from participating in ATO ops in the future or from continuing to be an active Fed.

Hi. Welcome and have fun!

If you haven't already done so, started reading and posting in the EUSAforums; there is a ton of Congress stuff there that I wish I had looked at before I started. (Look at 'Legislative branch.')
