Introductions and Request to Access

Hello, my name is Kaminarinote (formerly Bruce Lightninghands), and up until a few days ago...I was your enemy.

But no longer.

Following an attack on my RL person from my in-game political opponents, I have slashed and burned my way outside of eCanada, got myself impeached, and am now on the eUSA's doorstep, begging and pleading for entry. Apparently, the IES has already rejected my immigration proposal, but I am undeterred. I have no love in my heart for people who attack someone's player for power and prestige in a free-to-play browser game. I come here with two goals: to liberate Japan from the Serbs, and to get my revenge on Canada.

I have come to SHIELD to help me with those goals.

A part of me still hopes that the IES will reconsider its rejection, but even if it does not, I will find one of the eUSA's allied nations to gain CS in and fight alongside SHIELD regardless. I need whatever help can be offered in my quest, and so have humbly come to SHIELD - at the invitation of my good friend GreekHoplite (now WookyJack) - for shelter in this time of need.

I urge you to accept me into your numbers, knowing that until time passes there isn't a way for you to trust me. I understand this. Give me a chance, though, and together we will accomplish great things together. I want to get to know you all, and hopefully one day earn your respect with my loyalty.

Thank you for your full and complete honesty on the situation. I hope too that IES will reconsider your cs request in a month or so as you show good faith with our MU.

I am fully aware my trust within the eUSA will be earned and not given...and for good reason. I am fully aware of my past misdeeds against the United States and its allies, but part of defection is atonement. I don't expect anybody to welcome me with warm hugs and open arms. However, I do hope I will at the very least be given the chance to serve and prove myself worthy of one day becoming a citizen. SHIELD is a good start, and I welcome any opportunity to show where my true allegiances are now.

Some of you will never accept me, and I understand that - but maybe one day I'll earn your begrudging respect. For those who do, at least now, welcome me, I thank you for your confidence and hope to prove my value to you.
