Hello everybody. This looks like a good place to hang out. Unfortunately, some forums seem to require special access. Poor me. I only have plain ordinary access. Oh well.

Apples and oranges. Yes, that's what apple juice tastes like when vitamin C is added, some weird mixture of apple juice and orange juice. And yet, for some reason, when I go to the supermarket, most bottles of apple juice have vitamin C added. Don't people remember when apple juice tasted like apples?

Clint, I think I'd rather have Scotch added to apple juice instead of champagne. But both would be better than vitamin C.

While I'm at it, I think that brownies without walnuts are not really brownies.

We'll get you full forum access after the Congressional elections tomorrow (the 25th). Just a little security procedure to keep out the turrurusts.

Totally disagree on the brownie thing, by the way, but that's just me.

Mhmmm brownies.

Well, okay. Maybe I could see almonds instead of walnuts on some occasions. But it doesn't seem right to have a brownie without any nuts. To me, that's like a chocolate chip cookie without chocolate chips. Now, I will probably get some responses declaring that cookies are indeed ruined when chocolate chips are added.

Here is another one. Lemons are much better than limes, especially in iced tea. That's right. I said it. Did I offend any true believers?

I am offended at that one. Mis Latinos son muy ofendido. Limes are my second favorite Citrus, because they have so many uses.

BigCDizzle, oranges are my favorite citrus. Limes may have their place, but I like lemons better. BTW, I think orange juice should be without pulp. And without calcium for that matter.

Clint, I love it when a brownie pan comes together with walnuts.

Buicy, I could always use some goodwill. If we ever meet for lunch, I'll try to keep the walnuts on my side of the table.
