Only if you can handily supply yourself with the parts needed to build one. And even then, it really depends: you might not find yourself getting much use out of it except for hunting gold.

Mine sits idly by except for that one big battle every bunch of weeks.

In any case, my opinion is it should not be a priority; only build it if you've got too much gold and nothing to spend it on.

another question: is there a way to see my person's total history? like places i've worked, and been? because when i quit, i should have died, as i had given everything to my old CO. but when i returned, i was still alive, albeit in poland for some reason, and with about 60 gold i don't remember having before.

No, eRepublik does not keep any sort of history besides past mails, recents points, and alerts, all in a farily recent timeframe.

You could try checking your alerts, or if you wanted to see were you have fought in the last 20 days you could try checking this site, though I didn't find anything under "Josh Tucker" though.

If none of that help, you could try talking to whoever your old CO was.

Maybe your account was used to hide the gold from a bank robbery! In which case, you better change your password AND residence before they come after you!

... so i feel... stupid, but i have so many QUESTIONS! umm... whats the policy on language? i mean in terms of swearing, is it a no no altogether, or is the "just dont abuse it" policy what i should follow? jw coz my gpa was a sailor, dad was infantry, and mom was motor pool, so... colorful vocabulary growing up lol

You can swear, just don't fucking abuse it.

It happens, and while most wont hold it against you, I'd say try not to go to crazy to often since it's hard to know when there's youngins around..

If you use colorful language in-game a few "famous points" won't kill you. As long as you know when to quit. Unless you are really pushing it mostly you'll be fine.

Our Admin overlords turned the bot activity way down and introduced Q7 tanks.

Those tanks require many more rm to produce but the companies are prohibitively expensive to acquire so are somewhat rarer and require the ability to handle much more overhead to operate. Also, the Q7 tanks have more uses attached to them, so in a market that is based on how many fights people will output, it takes less of them to satiate that demand.

In short it destroyed the very prolific Q6 market which employed a great many people and replaced it with a much smaller Q7 market that doesn't require as many employees to put out many more fights. Wages fell precipitously and here we are.

who buys the defense systems and the hospitals? I don't understand how they are used.

If I'm not mistaken, the US government does. They used to be a really important aspect of the game, back when the fortress strategy was all the rage.

Of course, it was all the rage because we only had one state left at the time.

But now..........I'm honestly not sure if its still a major thing.

So if I am wrong, please someone come in here and correct me.

The President (congress may also have the power, not sure, but it's usually done by the potus) proposes the buying of defense systems (DS's) and hospitals (H's) to congress for approval, once passed, it is then placed in the designated state/region availible for use during it's pre-designated battle round.

both have become largely obsolete and pointless in my opinion over the years due to admin game changes, but some people may disagree.

DS's and H's companies are no longer obtainable (if they even still exist at all, someone else may have an answer to that) and haven't been for over a year.

DS's, when placed add a specific amount of damage to the owners side during a specific round of battle, pre-determined during the original proposal of placement to congress. IMO, the damage given is negligible, and probably not even considered by attackers when choosing tactics.

H's are a little more practical however and are placed in the same fashion as DS's. They then allow defenders to heal a few wellness (up to 50 per defender, but are capped in the total amount of wellness available to all) so they can throw down a little more free damage. They are usable by all allies of the defender, regardless of location as long as they are in allied territory, because of this however, they are generally used up in the first few minutes of the battle. if you ever see the (H) icon in place of your food button on the fight screen, make sure to take advantage of it right away, it wont be there long.

You may view which rounds will have the added benefits of DS's and H's in the region info page under "Constructions", if placed they will be listed there in the appropriate box representing the rounds of the battle.

I was under the impression that all of them are obsolete and that the admins just switched off the bot or bought at a price so low that any left on the market (if any) haven't been withdrawn yet.

In any case, I haven't seen any of the above in use in a very long time. Probably since late '11. Maybe early '12.

Long story short........They had a plan for the past long time of getting people in congress and then having those congressmen allow citizenships to people that they knew would help them PTO us. It kinda snowballed from there, they all joined the same party the minute game changes were made by admins that make it easier to PTO us. And they are sponsored by enemy governments. They literally went from forming a party to having it as the number one party in a matter of days, because they were all just two clicking, waiting on the right time.

Its been literally years in the making.

a few years ago RGR/Ajay/PtH/whatever you wanna call him, could only get (himself or a supporter) a random congress seat every month or two by sneaking in a multi or some other unknown, but with each new seat he would get he (they) would ignore IES and approve more and more blacklisted citizen applications, giving him even more power in the next elections. eventually they got enough people to overthrow a top 5 party, allowing them to propose their own congressmen which is pretty much what opened the flood gates. now they're pretty much unchecked in the congressional elections.

~70% of AFA are foreign PTO'ers that were brought here to bring down our government.
