Federalist Party, today we present three Federalists who we put to you to vote to see who gets intucted into the Hall of Fame this month.

The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to enshrine Federalists of Fed History so that new Feds are aware of those who built the party in the past as well as those who build it today.

Please read, look over, and ask questions about each candidate.

Only one will be inducted this month.  Those not selected will be voted on again in a future month.

Tiacha -

Tiacha was the Fed First Lady for quite some time. She also was one of the first Feds to really hit the national scene between being our first Congressperson as a party and being the very first overall Secretary of Education. She later would go into the Marines to go on to becoming Commandant. She has served as Party President and a countless number of national offices and exemplified what it meant to be a Fed: Country > Party > Self

Captain Panther -

Captain Panther was one of the key proponents for the Fed Military Department and would be instrumental in starting what would become Easy Company and the concept of a powerful Party Militia. He worked during the rising age of Federalism to help set the party apart with new programs as well as serving as a Party President and contributed significantly to getting top 5 status for the Feds as well as making the Feds who they are today. EZC & SHIELD would not be what they are today without Captain Panther, and his major contributions to the party through the establishment of the militia in support of national goals exemplified what it meant to be a Fed: Country > Party > Self

Alexander Hamilton -

(Being worked on)

Personally, I don't know any of these three, but I read all three wiki-pages. And have now voted.

I'm attempting to hold back and not say for whom, but I think this person did some important work on an important issue. An issue that still needs a little more work, in my humble opinion.

Voted -

I voted for Captain Panther mainly because he was one that got me involved more than socially in the party my first time around. I had fun hanging out for FG on IRC and talking to CS. CS got me my actual first Fed Job. With CS, I got involved with the FOP.

Captain Panther got me into a Director/Leadership job by having me take the FOP over from CS while he moved to another job.

Well, since we're sharing. As I said, I didn't know a thing about any of the three so I had to depend on their wiki pages. In the end, I voted for Tiacha.

And I'll use just a couple excerpts from her wiki to share why I voted for her.

"In an article she explained her decision not to run for Congress in December stating Congress was nothing but "an old boy's club" where if you didn't vote what the old boys thought was best, you were deemed an outcast."

"Tiacha ran as PrincessMedyPi's running mate on during the April 2009 presidential campaign. They ran a campaign based on improving women's role in eRepublik as well as a LULZ campaign."

I will say, compared to some games I've played, eRep as a whole does generally treat female players with basic dignity and respect. However, there is still a fair amount of condescension and double-standards toward female players; at least for the average or newer female player.

Looks like Alexander Hamilton is the newest member of the Fed Hall of Fame.

His picture will be added in the next day or two.

I do try. But srsly, females do have an advantage, as the giant male population here all wants to be their friends, its the most basic of all aphorisms. I don't think people are all being trrbl sexists, I think its just how it goes, and it can definitely be used to gain an advantage. Its the same principle as ladies nights.
