Never played an lotto game before. But when dk explained the rules to me I figured it didn't matter where the numbers ran. After I noticed generally everyone clumps numbers. So I can see how my choice would come off as supreme in the manner stated. lol

I was under the impression every needed to pick different numbers, which is why those picks came off as dickish, as they'd block straights. Just noticed that literally every could pick 1-10  and it wouldn't matter.

Which reminds me, my picks are 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 4, 9, 16, 25, 36.

Technically everyone could say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 twice and I wouldn't stop them.  The idea of giving everyone two tickets is to rise the chance of getting at least one number as a winner. Of course this lotto is designed not to be profitable vs one that is designed to be profitable.

Since there is no 'pot' this kinda adds the concept of scratch tickets too huh...

Yeah, understandable. I purposely checked whether or not I could pick the same numbers as other people before picking my numbers. I was told it did not matter and that I could even pick the same exact numbers as someone else. But knowing how everyone else was picking straights and stuff, I totally see how that came off as dickish. Was not my intent bud.

I built this game from our state lotto, decreased numbers generated,
increased odds to win, and made it free. Then I threw in a rule from poker.

Multiple chances of winning and technically you win automatically for entering :P
and if I generate a number and no one won anything I generate another number till
there is at least one winner... :p

In a game I played previously, there was a lotto, eventually handed down to me where people were able to buy as many tickets as they wanted, then the winner took 98% of the pot, 2% staying with the guy who ran it. You'd be surprised how much 2% can be, I ended out richer than most of the guys who won it after running it long enough.

Actually they simply let the donation expire which confuses me

Either I will generate the numbers friday or darkapollo, I am in a winter storm warning and in the case I lose power I gave darkapollo the lotto program for generating numbers so the contest is covered.
